Accountability, Responsibility, and Authority
Does your megachurch have “silos” of responsibility? What happens when members needs fall outside those silos? Who is accountable when they complain or leave the church because their appropriate need was not met?
With personal pastors, every member has a pastor, assigned or chosen, who is accountable and responsible for making sure their reasonable needs are met within the church.
Just as importantly, every member has a contactable spiritual authority within the church. Many churches spend a lot of pastor time trying to clean up train wrecks that may have never happened if the members would have sought wisdom from their spiritual authority first.
